Meet the Leitch Insurance Agency Team

Steve Leitch
I joined the Leitch Insurance Agency in 1987 after receiving a degree in Risk Management & Insurance at UW-Madison. I enjoy serving the insurance needs of personal and commercial clients.

It's important to me to be involved in the River Falls community, having served on the Board of Directors for the River Falls Chamber of Commerce & River Falls Main Street Project, and am currently active with the Rotary Club and serve on the board of the River Falls Community Fund. I also enjoy maintaining a strong level of involvement in the insurance industry, including sitting on agent advisory boards for Encompass Insurance and West Bend Mutual, as well as being a member of the Board of Directors for the Independent Insurance Agents of Wisconsin.

I consider myself lucky to live in River Falls and value the personal and business relationships I’ve established over the last 20 years.

My wife, Lori, and I have four boys – Evan, Michael, Brandon and Ryan, and we are glad to call River Falls “home”.

Betty Skelton
I have been active in the insurance industry for 30 years. I worked for the St. Paul Companies for 8 years and for the Leitch Insurance Agency since 1983. I am mainly active in the commercial insurance area, providing customer service and processing policy activity.

I am from Wilson, WI. My husband, Mike, and I live in River Falls. We have 3 married daughters – Erin, Shannon, and Corri. We are also excited to see our family expand with 4 grandchildren.

When I’m away from the office, I enjoy reading, walking & spending time with my family.

Dave Black
I am a third-generation resident of River Falls. My grandparents homesteaded in River Falls in 1897. I have spent my entire life in this community, and I am very familiar with the area and its residents. I owned and operated a dairy farm from 1973 until 1988 in the River Falls area. In 1987, I received my property & casualty and life & health licenses and started as an agent for Rural Mutual Insurance Company.

In 1992, I joined the Leitch Agency, providing commercial, farm and personal lines insurance. I'm also active in the life and health market with small group sales. My experience in agriculture gives me great confidence when I sell and service farm accounts. That knowledge also flows over to the commercial market as well.

My social interest and passion has been my involvement with youth sports and activities in our community and state. I am currently the Chairman of the Wisconsin Wrestling Federation, and I'm a member of the Junior National Olympic Wrestling Committee. I also serve on the long range planning committee for USA Wrestling in Colorado Springs.

My wife, Mary, and I have four adult children and one daughter-in-law and two sons-in-law. We currently reside in River Falls.

Mark Kornmann
I've been a licensed insurance agent since 1997. I worked at American Family Insurance prior to joining the Leitch Insurance Agency in March of 1999. I am licensed to write property, casualty, life and health insurance.

I was born and raised in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin and graduated from UW-Whitewater in 1993 with a BBA in Business Management.

I enjoy being active in the community, and am a member of the River Falls Lions Club. In my spare time, I enjoy running, watching the Green Bay Packers, and spending time with my family.

I live in River Falls with my wife, Karen, and our two daughters, Annika and Arianne.

Jaime Wittmer
I am the newest addition to the Leitch Insurance Agency. I joined the staff in February 2005, and am fully licensed in all lines - property, casualty, life & health insurance.

Prior to coming to Leitch Insurance Agency, I worked for State Farm Insurance for six years. The majority of my career at State Farm was spent in Woodbury, MN at their Northeast Regional Office handling claims. From there, I moved to a River Falls State Farm Agency until I decided to move to an Independent Agency. I enjoy the flexibility and choices that an Independent Agency provides.

I am a native of the Glenwood City area. My husband, Kerry, and I have three children – Mitchell, Lydia, and Maxx.

Sheryl Kendall
I have been with the Leitch Insurance Agency since 1994. I received my property & casualty license in 1987, and was active as an agent until 2002. I then took the bookkeeping position here, which has been my main area of focus. Having the product background and licensing available allows me to assist customers as the need arises.

I live in Elmwood, WI with my husband, Scott, and our son Trent. We have two adult daughters, Ashlee and Denver.

Jayne Longsdorf
I have lived in River Falls all my life. I graduated from River Falls High School in 1967, raised three children, and now enjoy six grandsons and one granddaughter.

I started as the receptionist at Leitch Insurance Agency in 1991. In addition to greeting and assisting clients, I provide general data support as well.

My husband Jack and I live just two miles north of town. When not in the office, I enjoy sewing, camping, walking, and time with our family and friends.
