What Services Are Covered?
Medicare Part B is medical insurance rather than hospital insurance. This coverage helps to pay for the following:
physician services
- outpatient hospital services
- emergency room visits when you are treated and released
- outpatient surgery
- diagnostic tests
- clinical lab services
- outpatient physical therapy
- speech therapy
- medical equipment and supplies
- rural health clinic services
- renal dialysis
- other health services and supplies
Part B Deductible
$110 per year for the year 2005.
Part B Monthly Premium
The Part B premium is $78.20 per month for the year 2005.
